About PNC Financial Services

The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. (PNC) is a financial service company. The Company has businesses engaged in retail banking, corporate and institutional banking, asset management, and residential mortgage banking, providing its products and services nationally and others in its markets located in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Missouri, Wisconsin and Georgia. It also provides products and services internationally. As of December 31, 2011, its corporate legal structure consisted of one domestic subsidiary bank, including its subsidiaries, and approximately 122 active non-bank subsidiaries. Its bank subsidiary is PNC Bank, National Association (PNC Bank, N.A.). Effective December 9, 2011, PNC acquired 27 branches in the northern metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia area from Flagstar Bank, FSB, a subsidiary of Flagstar Bancorp, Inc. Effective June 6, 2011, PNC acquired 19 branches in the greater Tampa, Florida area from BankAtlantic, a subsidiary of BankAtlantic Bancorp, Inc.
