Ikanos Communications, Inc. is a provider of advanced semiconductor products and software for delivering broadband solutions to the connected home. The Company is engaged in the design, development, marketing and sale of semiconductors and integrated firmware. It offers broadband multi-mode and digital subscriber line (DSL) processors, other semiconductor offerings power carrier infrastructure (Access) and customer premises equipment (Gateway) for network equipment manufacturers (NEMs) supplying telecommunications service providers. Its products are at the core of DSL access multiplexers (DSLAMs), optical network terminals (ONTs), concentrators, modems, voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) terminal adapters, integrated access devices (IADs) and residential gateways (RGs).
